Many of us have learned to prioritize the needs, feelings, and expectations of others, sometimes at the expense of our own well-being. We may over-give, over-function, or take on more responsibility than is ours in an effort to maintain connection, avoid conflict, or feel needed. Over time, these patterns can leave us depleted and disconnected from our own needs.

But I Love Me More is an exploration of what it means to remain in relationship with others without abandoning ourselves. This theme invites us to examine where we may be giving beyond our capacity, taking responsibility for things that belong to others, or confusing self-sacrifice with love. It asks us to consider: When is it time to show up for someone else, and when is it time to show up for ourselves?

We will explore the balance between generosity and overextension, care and codependency, support and over-functioning. This is not about becoming less loving or withdrawing from meaningful relationships. It is about developing the discernment to recognize when our giving is genuine and when it is driven by fear, obligation, or a need for validation. It is about allowing others to have their own experiences, responsibilities, and opportunities for growth without rushing in to manage or fix everything for them.
