Divine Neutrality 2.0
Divine Neutrality involves looking at situations with a clear lens, without pushing or resisting energetically but instead redirecting and shifting the energy that tries to hook and engage us. Divine Neutrality looks like not challenging situations where people try to hook into our energy or play unconscious psychic games with us. From an activated lens, we add fuel to unwanted energy by unknowingly matching this energy through our mere resistance to it.
Looking and moving through situations with a lens of Divine Neutrality doesn’t mean we are passive and detached. Quite the opposite, these situations are opportunities to redirect and shift energy that is coming at us that we don’t want in our field. Consider what you typically do when unwanted foreign energy is coming at you and how divine neutrality will allow you to side step this energy while no longer engaging and entertaining it. In this class we will look at the energetic mechanics behind what happens when we resist and push against things, how control dramas develop and perpetuate, and the covert and overt energetic games we find ourselves participating in. Ask yourself how you battle and energetically match the very things in your life you think you are trying to change.
This month’s guest teacher for Divine Neutrality 2.0 is Chilán Mustain. Chilán Mustain is a licensed acupuncturist with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. At age 5, Chilán started learning indigenous healing practices and herbal medicine from his uncle and others in his community. This exposure to healing work at a young age imprinted him with the outlook and experiences that inform his natural approach to medicine. Chilán continues to hone his skills through clinical practice, telemedicine, and teaching. Chilán is well known for his subtle and effective techniques, genuine compassion, and insightful honesty. Chilán will discuss how to navigate energy coming at us, why this happens, and how we can redirect it all from a perspective of martial arts.
