Grounded Awareness means coming back into the physical body. So often we focus on our energetic evolution and spiritual ascension that we forget to tend to our physical presence. It is time to come back to the core of our practice by turning inward to our most intimate experience of having a body. Centering into the physical vessel of your being allows you to move from a place of ease, balance, and inner knowing.
While we may be so focused on advancing ourselves energetically and spiritually, we can forget the importance of grounding physically into our own being. Our relationship with our body is vital for emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. The physical vessel of our existence is foundational to our experience here on Earth. In this class we discuss why we may feel resistance or difficulty being in our bodies and how we can use certain grounding and centering practices to meet ourselves in our physical presence with greater intentionality.
Guest Teaching for our Grounded Awareness 2.0 class is Steven Washington. Steven Washington runs a wildly successful weekly, online Pilates/Qigong fusion class called Core Qigong. His life-long passion and key foundation to his own spiritual fitness has been movement. Steven is a certified Lee Holden QiGong instructor and has taught groups and individuals for over 20 years in Pilates, Dance, Physical Fitness and QiGong. His study of Chinese medicine and certification as a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist has added to his knowledge of the body. We are thrilled to have Steven with us as he dives into mindful movement practices and grounding techniques. Steven’s gentle movement practices are a brilliant, effective tool for empaths and intuitives to balance themselves and shift energy within their body.
